The Coleman Exponent Avior X-1 Three Season One-Man Tent is a great little tent. It's light at just a little over a kilo, so it's great for backpacking and its fairly cheap. If you want to use it for solo backpacking, it's great as you have plenty of room to sleep in and keep all your gear inside!
I was in the lakes this last weekend and we had a whole day and night of torrential rain and I was bone dry inside, the field we were camping in was like a lake but the tent was completly dry inside! It did, however, get a bit of condensation inside but not a huge amount and soon was dry when the sun came up (I suppose this is where spending huge amounts of money comes into play in that you get less/no condensation, I could be wrong though?) I would say its a great little 3 season tent which will cope with pretty much anything except winter/expedition conditions!
